FIND, Inc. Announces Date and Venue for 2017 Fall Dialogue
Richmond, VA (September 2, 2017) --
The Filipino Intercollegiate Networking Dialogue, Incorporated (FIND, Inc.) is proud to announce the 2017 Fall Dialogue which will be held on Saturday, November 11, 2017, in District VII at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
District VII encompasses the central and southern region of Virginia and the Carolinas and is composed of nine collegiate organizations, OYFA@UVA, ODU FASA, W&M FASA, FASA@VT, FACT@VCU, TCC, JMU FAM, UNCG FASA, and UNCC FASU. It is one of the largest and most vast districts in the FIND, Inc. network. The great distance between the schools has presented many challenges, yet D7 has managed to host three Fall Dialogues - University of Virginia (1995), Old Dominion University (1999), and Virginia Commonwealth University (2009) - and two Spring Conferences - The College of William and Mary (2005) and University of Virginia (2014).
University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG) Filipino American Student Association (FASA) joined District VII one year after emerging on July of 2013 when a group of students showed interest in creating a group that represented their Filipino heritage. UNCG FASA’s mission is to establish a network that inspires and motivates the growing population of young Filipino-Americans to embrace their Filipino heritage, as well as include others who are interested in learning about their culture.
Look forward for more Dialogue updates through our social media platforms.
